Nhlamulo ‘Nota’ Baloyi is a South African hip hop exec who says wild things on a podcast called The Hustler’s Corner.

Actually, he says wild things everywhere. 🤣

I invited him onto my podcast because of his claim that Whites are inferior to Blacks, which has upset many and landed him before the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) for Hate Speech.

The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC/ the Commission) will institute Equality Court proceedings against Mr Nhlamulo ‘Nota’ Baloyi for alleged hate speech. 

This decision follows utterances made by Mr Baloyi on 17 February 2025, during an episode of The Hustlers Corner SA, published on YouTube, where he made several statements expressing his views on white people. Following the publication of the podcast, the Commission opened its own-accord investigation and received complaints from across the country registered with the Gauteng Provincial Office. The SAHRC found a prima facie case of hate speech. 

In its assessment of the matter, the Commission considered the legal framework, which is primarily based on the Promotion of Equality and Prevention of Unfair Discrimination Act, 2000, and existing jurisprudence on hate speech. 

The Commission’s prayers will include a public apology, diversity and sensitivity training, community service, and a monetary fine, but they are not limited to these. Complainants who seek other remedies may open a crimen injuria case with the South African Police Service.  

To be clear, I don’t think expressing an opinion should be penalised by the state. After all, how is saying that Whites are inferior to Blacks a violation of anybody’s human rights? 😂

Human races are real

Nota made a few racially-charged claims and I'm glad he made them, because it's time we stop being politically correct about race and culture. I like that he accepts the plausibility of superior and inferior races (depending on the category), which is a good start, as it suggests genetic differences, not just cultural differences, which is pretty damn obvious.

So, when we talk about Whites and Blacks, we are referring to specific races, Caucasian and Negroid, respectively.

There are five primary races.

• Caucasian (White)
• Mongoloid (Asian)
• Negroid (Black)
• Indigenous (Native American)
• Australoid (Aboriginal and Melanesian)

People take offence to this, arguing instead for a single human race where we’re all one big happy family with rainbows and unicorns, adding a postmodernist spin like ‘race is a social construct’, which is akin to saying the differences between chimpanzees and gorillas are a social construct.

The differences between human races are profund, if you simply observe.

Bruce Fenton’s The Forgotten Exodus calls the ‘Out of Africa’ theory politicised nonsense with little historical basis. Put another way, all humans do not 'come from Africa'.

Whites are an 'inferior species'?

When I asked him what he meant by this, he explicitly stated he was referring to culture, but as you saw from the above video, he very clearly referred to genetics, adding that Whites were ‘just below human beings’.

Which means that Nota speaks with a forked tongue.

That said, Whites are certainly not inferior to Blacks. 😂

In the above video, and in my podcast episode, Nota said that Whites are 'savages’ and/or more violent than Blacks.

He might have a point if the metric is global conquest, especially considering that Blacks had spears and loincloths and Whites had ships and guns.

Meanwhile, here in South Africa, the government is happy to disclose the race of the victims of crime, but it doesn’t like disclosing the race of the perpetrators.

Why?

Furthermore, did you know that, according to the Global Slavery Index, Blacks enslave Blacks?

Wait.

Let me guess.

It's because Whites are just below human beings.

In the spirit of giving him a chance, I asked Nota to share his views, but I will repeat that I’m disappointed with his inconsistency. What he said on my podcast is different to what he has said on other podcasts.

I disagree with much of what he said, but we only had an hour, he had a lousy internet connection, and I didn’t want to stop and start every few minutes over every disagreeable point.
