Disney is falling apart because of its deliberate move towards neo-Marxism.

Neo-Marxism, also referred to as cultural Marxism, is a term used to describe a theoretical framework that combines elements of Marxist theory with insights from sociology, cultural studies, and postmodern philosophy. It emerged as a distinct school of thought in the 1960s and 1970s, building upon the ideas of classical Marxism.

At its core, neo-Marxism explores the relationship between culture, ideology, and power within capitalist societies. It expands beyond the traditional Marxist focus on economic class struggle and incorporates other forms of oppression such as gender, race, and ethnicity.

Hence wokeness or woke culture.

Nick Caturano has been working at Disney for nearly two decades and has seen the damage caused by the culture wars driven by the park’s deliberate ideological shift to wokeness.

The Disney parks began with the opening of Disneyland in California in 1955. It was designed by Walt Disney himself and was the first-ever theme park.

Its purpose was to provide a place where families could experience fun and adventure. It became an iconic symbol of American pop culture and revolutionised the amusement park industry.

In 1971, Walt Disney World Resort opened in Orlando, Florida, featuring the Magic Kingdom as its centerpiece. Euro Disney, now known as Disneyland Paris, opened in 1992.

Nick chatted to me about working at Disney.
