The CO2 Coalition was founded in 2015. It’s a non-profit organisation, set up to help leaders, policy makers, and everyday people understand how carbon dioxide benefits our lives and economy.
The coalition aims to have a calm and well-informed conversation about climate change, including discussing the part humans play in the climate, the limits of climate models, and what happens if we are forced to cut down carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
CO2 is fundamental to life on Earth.
It plays a critical role in the process of photosynthesis carried out by plants, algae, and some bacteria. During photosynthesis, these organisms convert CO2 and sunlight into oxygen and glucose, a type of sugar that serves as a primary energy source for life. The oxygen produced is released into the atmosphere and is vital for the survival of pretty much everything.

His work has taken him across the globe to over 40 countries, studying earth sciences and interacting with local communities.
He has written a book called Sunlight on Climate Change: A Heretic’s Guide to Global Climate Hysteria, which breaks down complex climate change science into easy-to-understand language for the everyday person.
Besides his book, Ron has written numerous other pieces, aiming to clear up the misunderstanding between traditional science and politicised climate science.
