I have had a number of important (and recommended) conversations around climate change but the following one with Ron Barmby is probably the most important because it’s a return to the basics.
A beginner’s guide of sorts.
Ron is an engineer and part of the CO2 Coalition and has a great way of simplifying complicated concepts.
His book Sunlight on Climate Change: A Heretic’s Guide to Global Climate Hysteria is worth getting because, like our following conversation, simplifies things.

Slightly more complex conversations covering climate change are
- the sun’s impact on Earth, with Valentina Zharkova;
- global warming hysteria and propaganda, with Tony Heller;
- why polar bears are doing well, with Susan Crockford;
- why there is no climate crisis, with William Happer; and
- the benefits of CO2, with Patrick Moore.
Our conversation
The above discussions are excellent accompaniments to my following one with Ron which is an easy-to-follow collection of explanations of things like
- the role of the sun;
- climate versus weather;
- the impact of clouds;
- our warming and cooling climate;
- what is CO2 and why it is targeted by the establishment;
- burping cows and methane;
- whether or not extreme weather matters;
- volcanic eruptions;
- the “97% consensus” among scientists; and
- the dangers of politicised science.
