Sam and Mark Bailey are two of the most inspiring hobbits people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. They are both medical doctors who chose to no longer be medical doctors, thanks to the medical industry. Instead, they upgraded their outlook and chose to research – and promote – better ideas surrounding medicine and health.
As per their website,
Sam is a content creator, medical author & health educator. Mark is a microbiology, medical industry and health researcher who worked in medical practice, including clinical trials, for two decades.
I am obviously biased due to my real-world friendship with Sam and Mark. Both Sam and Mark have been on my podcast and TNT Radio show; Sam’s conversation about finding happiness is particularly pleasant, and Mark’s dissection of virology is viciously brilliant.
Sam Bailey
Sam is the public face of the duo, presenting their ideas in a fun and informative way, covering topics like
Sam’s penis size video is, I believe, her most watched one. Because, deep down, we all know that size matters.

Mark bailey
Mark prefers to stay behind the scenes, doing extensive research and the odd interview here and there.
For example, the following is an incredible critique of virology, recently published by Mark.
Our conversation
Sam and Mark joined me for a sneak peek into their lives, including
- the importance of family;
- leaving behind the medical industry;
- whether or not New Zealand has big animals;
- living and eating healthily;
- Sam’s gardening skills; and
- where New Zealand is headed.
