Why is everyone offended by everything?

Owen Benjamin is the most cancelled comedian in America, which is all the more reason to listen to him and laugh.

Owen Benjamin is an American comedian, actor and internet personality known for his stand-up comedy and appearances in various TV shows and films.

He is very funny.

In recent years, Owen has become more prominent for his hilarious online presence, especially after becoming one of the most cancelled comedians due to doing what comedians are supposed to be doing: comedy.

Comedy should provoke—it’s the one place left where you can offend and still make people laugh instead of cry.

— Ricky Gervais, comedian

Pretty much everything he’s ever done has been removed from its respective channel. For example, Spotify removed all of his Joe Rogan episodes.

The establishment hates Owen, which means that I don’t. I recommend checking out his special Noble Savage and his video platform Unauthorized.TV.

'Political correctness is the greatest enemy of comedy'

Everyone is offended 😢

These days, everyone takes offence at everything—I just don’t get why.

The job of a comedian is to find the line and stomp all over it—offense is the price of freedom.

— Dave Chappelle, comedian

Maybe it’s down to postmodernism mixing with society’s feminisation. After all, men shouldn’t get triggered by a few jokes. Lately, though, there’s a glaring vacuum: loads of males, but not many men.

Patriachy is critical to the survival of civilisation
Men have always been leaders and always will be leaders.

I also think it’s a consequence of there being too many rights, which leads to entitlement and a false sense of self-importance.

Plus, Owen's topics are over the target. For example:

Here’s the thing.

Isn’t comedy supposed to be edgy and over the line? Isn’t it meant to make the audience uncomfortable by holding up a mirror?

Isn’t comedy a thermometer in that it measure the temperature of society?

If you can’t take a joke, that’s your problem—offensive comedy keeps us honest and cuts through the bullshit.

— George Carlin
