Dawn Lester and David Parker authored the book What Really Makes You Ill?, in which they challenge the established pharmaceutical position of Germ Theory.

Germ Theory is the currently accepted scientific theory for many diseases, stating that microorganisms known as “pathogens” or “germs” cause disease. Diseases caused by pathogens are called “infectious diseases“.

The medical establishment has a vested interest in promoting the idea that disease is caused by germs, which has led to the over-prescription of drugs and the neglect of more natural and effective treatments.

The book presents a wealth of supporting evidence.

For example, the rate of chronic disease has skyrocketed in recent decades, and cited studies show that many common diseases, such as cancer and heart disease, are actually caused by lifestyle factors such as diet, stress, and lack of exercise.

The best way to prevent and treat disease is to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

  • We all have unique internal environments.
  • Our bodies are home to trillions of microorganisms living in harmony.
  • Focus on the cause rather than the symptoms.

Eat healthier. Get regular exercise. Manage stress levels. Avoid conventional medical treatments such as most over-the-counter drugs and (some) surgeries because they can often do more than good.

It’a obvious, but, the healthier you are, the healthier you are.
