Apparently, the global porn industry is a massive market, with an estimated worth of around USD 97 billion. A significant chunk of this revenue, roughly USD 12 billion, is generated in the United States.
When it comes to online viewership, XVideos stands out, receiving a staggering 2.9 billion monthly views. Interestingly, the origins of online porn can be traced back to 1994 when Sex.com was registered as one of the first porn sites.
Around 28,000 individuals are actively watching porn at any given moment. Furthermore, an astonishing 35% of all internet downloads are related to pornography.
In 2018, the collective viewership reached an astounding 5,824,699,200 hours of porn.
