Naomi Seibt is a German “counter-activist” often referred to – by the media – as “the anti-Greta” because of her non-conformist and independent approach to current affairs, particularly around climate change.

She was born in Germany in 2000.

Which means that, when we recorded this podcast, she was just 21 years old.

Naomi studied physics and mathematics in high school, and was awarded first place in the physics category of the Jugend forscht, a German science competition, in 2013.

After graduating from high school, she began working for the Heartland Institute, an American “right-wing” public policy think tank. She was hired to be a “climate realist” who would challenge the views of climate crazies like Greta Thunberg.

Naomi has spoken at a number of events organised by “conservative”right wing” think tanks, and has been featured in a number of media outlets, including Fox News and The Daily Caller.

In April 2021, her YouTube channel was terminated for “violating the platform’s community guidelines”, which is what happened to me too.

Naomi’s mission is to inspire scepticism in the field of science and regarding socio-economic issues.

A significant problem, she says, is society’s tendency to take state control for granted, leading to a lack of questioning and understanding of authoritarian measures. She notes the failures of collectivist and socialist systems.

The need for free, uncensored information to enable open public discourse is key to her mission.
